Helping people get their life back is what Paul loves most.

Dr. Paul Whatling, originally from Derby, England received a bachelor of science in sports science before obtaining his chiropractic degree from The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, England. After a couple years of practicing in London, Dr Whatling moved to Nova Scotia and has not looked back. An avid athlete, Dr Whatling spends his time away from the office playing field hockey and soccer (football!). He’s also had his share of sports injuries (including not one but TWO Achilles’ ruptures!) which has increased his empathy and understanding of how athletes feel when they come to him for help returning to the sports they love. Dr. Paul is the Official Chiropractic Consultant For The HFX Wanderers Football Club

With a varied practice of all ages, Dr Whatling strives to get all the people he cares for back doing the things they love, from walking the dog, running a marathon, playing a soccer game or simply being able to pick up their grandchild again. Having been told numerous times that he’s “changed my life”, Dr Whatling’s drive to help people live a fuller life is stronger with every day!

Dr. Lauren Cormier grew up in Cape Breton. She completed a BSc. from Mount Allison University before moving overseas to England to attend The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. It was there where she discovered the most incredible profession and and after seven years working as an associate at various practices in London, England and then HRM, Nova Scotia, she and partner Dr Whatling set up The Chiropractic Loft in 2018.

Dr Cormier’s drive is all about allowing and empowering people to be the very best version of themselves they can be. Meeting new people and helping them shine brighter are two of her favourite things. She’s also a keen life-long learner, taking several CE courses every year to ensure she is giving people the best care she can. Outside of work, she can be found traveling; exploring new places and cultures, powerlifting, reading and keeping on new ways to improve the mind, body and spirit.

One of best compliment she’s ever received was that what makes her a great practitioner is her natural curiosity of all things.
